12 is a film that takes place mostly in a closed school gym where 12 jurors must decide the fate of a Chechen boy accused of murdering his stepfather. However, one man votes against because he thinks that deciding one’s life fate so fast is a bad decision and he urges the group to at least discuss things a little, saying that he, too, will vote against the boy if everyone remains of the same opinion after the discussion. And then the discussion takes place while the uncertainty becomes bigger and bigger. The quality of acting in the movie is outstanding.

The Border Post

Not wishing for his wife to find out, he finds an excuse to not go home by declaring a state of emergency claiming that the Albanian army is preparing for an attack on Yugoslavia and that no one, including him, may leave the border post premises for three weeks. And until his genitalia is cured, Yugoslavia is ‘at war’ with Albania.

A movie that inspires you to think about friendship, courage, loyalty, ideology, sinning, forgiveness, redemption, and love and a movie that among all that offers you a bit of humor from time to time.
